With the increased computerization of
companies, both big and small, these clients will require professionals to
setup, monitor, service and fix their network systems when the need arises.
These professionals must be able to perform basic operations like responding to
troubleshooting mails from clients to diagnosing and repairing issues
concerning the network remotely or in-person to performing complex operations

First off, it should be noted that for each
semester, students will be certified based on what they have learnt in that
semester. For example, at the end of the first semester, students will be
certified as Aptech Certified Hardware Specialists (ACHS). The end of the
second semester will see students certified as Aptech Certified Network
Administrators (ACNA). After the third semester, students will be certified as Aptech
Certified Network Managers (ACNM). While the fourth semester will have students
certified as Aptech Certified Database Managers – SQL Server (ACDB). All these
will result in the award of the Aptech Certified Network Specialists
certification.

In the first semester, the courses to be
taken will be digital electronics, fundamentals of computer hardware and
networking – where students will learn the fundamentals of computer technology,
installation and configuration of PCs, laptops and related hardware, and basic
networking – and PC configuration and troubleshooting. During the second
semester, the modules to be taught will be networking essentials, routing
technology, and working with windows operating systems.
